The Linden Review is pleased to announce nominees for the 2023 Best of the Net. Nominees were selected by the editorial staff of Issue 3.
The editors selected “Pathology Report” by JV Genova and “The Mothers of Sauerkraut Cave Cry for Their Children” by Hailey Small.
JV Genova holds an MFA in nonfiction from Colorado State University and is a former associate editor for Colorado Review. When she isn't writing, she dabbles in photography and grows potatoes. Hailey Small is a senior and almost-alumni of Asbury University, where she studies English, history, and creative writing. Find her poetry and essays published in Kentucky Monthly, Anthrow Circus, The Sundress Blog, and The Asbury Review, where she also serves as the editor in chief.
The Best of the Net is an awards-based anthology designed to grant a platform to a diverse and growing collection of writers and publishers who are building an online literary landscape that seeks to break free of traditional publishing.
